I wonder if these couches are remnants of street-level Occuparty like that which recently achieved headlines and Twitter snark. It has all the signs of feel-good, disorganized revelry which may or may not have made a statement about something.

Morning in Williamsburg, Brooklyn on February 12, 2012.
I had to pause and appreciate the non-sequitor advertisement for salami on the wall by the auto repair shop.
Man, it's all stroller pushers and dog walkers at this hour.
Man, that Fushimi place is an eyesore and I've not even been inside. I hear it's some sort of discotheque sushi joint with design inspired by New Jersey.

Appoaching Pap and Grandma's House, Over a Creek and through the Woods.
With the recent freezing rain on the ground making the grass look downright pretty, I also wondered what it was like to live out the almost-seasonally-appropriate "Over the River and through the Woods" song. I had dropped the car at the mechanic's shop on Route 19, wasn't about to go anywhere for a while and wanted to see the old folks. A mile and change was the distance.
