New Orleans, Day 1: Dinner Around Midnight

All the restaurants I found near the Loews Hotel, where I'm staying the next three nights, are closed. Most closed at 10pm. That is not what I expected.

Across the street from the hotel's Swizzle Stick bar, which closed at an early 12AM, I found Ernst Cafe, a bar serving food.

It wasn't the greatest sandwich I got. It wasn't really even good. It was mostly bread and lettuce with mayo. And the fries were soggy. But I'm in New Orleans and this was a po boy, and that's all that mattered.
