New Orleans, Day 3: Breakfast, Sort-of, at Café du Monde

Servers were endlessly running in and out of the kitchen while many patrons sat, waiting to order, at empty tables. There are so many places at which I still have to eat, how could I stop to sit down? I waited in line to get a take-out bag of beignets and an iced chicory cafe au lait to go.
