Food Court Frenzy on NYE

I think of the spacious suburbs and spawling parking lots when I think of malls. I am surprised that there's one in New York City. There's nothing spacious about NYC. But Queens has one, in Elmhurst.

I'm here because there's a Lego store in the mall, and in that Lego store is a particular set of Legos I want to get for a particular person who I'll be seeing later tonight.

There are so many people here. The mall is packed. Most every table in the food court is occupied. What's everybody doing here? Shouldn't we all be getting ready for going out tonight?
