Ongoing J Line Adjustment

I've been in Bed-Stuy about a month now. The J/M/Z line still feels unfamiliar. It's less crowded than the L but it's twice as long to get to and from work now. Was this the right move?

Between the end of the M ride and the transfer to my J ride home, I try to make the most of the wait at the Marcy stop.
