Farmer's Cheese

After a month in the fridge, this block of cheese started showing mold on its surface. The texture was intriguing. It looked to me like a view from an aircraft and below were dried shrubs growing out of a snowy field.

I left the cheese alone to develop over another few months while I traveled and worked. On moving away from Pittsburgh I photographed the results shown here.
