An artifact from a former life.

This envelope and pouch got me to NYC.

"Are there tolls on the roads?" he asked.
"For some of them," I said, "out in Jersey. I usually take 80."
"Well, there's some quarters in there if you need 'em" he said. 

I'm not sure from where I got this thing. I want to say it came from a wedding, maybe my sister's in Jamaica. I don't think it was part of any official decorations. She said the same thing. She also went on to say it wasn't from her wedding at all.

For as long as I've been on the planet, Mrs. Ehrler, who lives in the North Side and loves Jesus very much, bakes cookies by the dozens and makes candies by the boxes for the holidays. This is but one cookie of many.

I will miss these nights in Pittsburgh. Now that I've signed the lease to the place in Brooklyn it's time to start packing up.
